"Specter," tells the story of two friends driven apart by decisions made. Within seconds of the opening act cinematic violins paint a dark atmosphere before "Specter" descends both lyrically and musically into clash of wills as one friend chases down a dream while the other can only observe the "Specter" they’ve become, the price too high as they obtain everything they ever wanted, but are now an empty shell. Filled with heavy and often violent guitar riffs, vying with formidable violins, and hard hitting electronic beats to draw out the conflict Soul Extract weaves a harsh tale of a friend lost to a dark path, leaving you with the declaration: "I will not be what you’ve become."

I really dig this album. It's not quite industrial but not quite electronica. Definitely has a bit of a 90s post-grunge vibe while having an original sound. This is electronic music that a classic metalhead such as myself can thoroughly enjoy because it rocks but also has a lot of variety from song to song.
